Database of Geophysical parameters for the study of the state of the atmosphere
Certificate of state registration of the database No. 2022622521)
Author: O. Borchevkina

Description:

The database contains information about the solar and geomagnetic conditions and parameters of the Earth's atmosphere and ionosphere for a comprehensive study of the state of near-Earth space and assessment of the influence of various heliogeophysical factors on the state of various layers of the Earth's atmosphere. The database includes: Kp index (global indicator of geomagnetic activity); auroral electrojet index AE (to provide a global quantitative estimate of the magnetic activity of the auroral zone caused by an increase in ionospheric currents flowing in the auroral oval region); index Dst (characterizes the axially symmetric disturbed field near the dipole equator on the earth's surface); ionospheric GEC (Global Electron Content) (a parameter equal to the total number of electrons in the region of altitudes from the Earth's surface up to 20,000 km); parameter TEC (total number of electrons, in a vertical column); index F10.7 (data on the flux of solar radio emission at a wavelength of 10.7 cm); total ozone (information on the density of the vertical column of ozone in the atmosphere). The database contains parameters in the time interval from January 1999 to December 2020.
